Booking platforms are increasingly shaped by legal requirements, especially around payments and contractual intermediation. In some countries, this creates strict obligations and risks for both platforms and the initiatives listed on them.
As a result, many grassroots, community-based, or informal projects are excluded.
Nomads.site takes a different approach.
We do not offer booking features or act as an intermediary. This allows us to include the full spectrum of nomadic life without exposing initiatives or the platform to these legal risks.
At the same time, our tagging system provides clarity by reflecting the organizational and economic context of each initiative.
From grassroots to highly professional projects, all are welcome.
